In 2008, the U.S. Olympic Team Trials will return to Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon; the site of the '72, '76 and '80 Olympic Trials. The largest and most prestigious pre-Olympic event in the United States, the Eugene '08 Trials will host hundreds of athletes competing for a spot on Team USA at the Olympic Games.

July 4: 35th Annual Butte to Butte at 8:00 AM Spencer Butte Middle School Eugene
July 4: – 6 24th Annual Art & the Vineyard from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM Alton Baker Park Eugene
July 11 – 13: Oregon Country Fair 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Veneta
July 19: Winetasia (benefit for Children’s Miracle Network) 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM Silvan Ridge/Hinman Vineyards

First Friday Artwalk
Every first Friday evening of each month, Lane Arts Council's First Friday ArtWalk begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Eugene Public Library (10th and Olive). Lane Arts Council's First Friday ArtWalk is held every month of the year, highlighting different art and art attractions in our community.
